This policy explains information used to operate tradeschool.fyi and how third-party education inquiries work.
Accounts and saved programs
If you create an account, we use your email address, profile information you provide, and authentication information to manage sign-in. Account authentication is provided through Supabase. Programs saved while signed in are stored with your account so you can return to them.
Without an account, saved program identifiers are stored in your browser’s local storage. If you later sign in, these saves may be added to your account. You can remove saved programs using the site’s save controls and clear browser storage in your browser settings.
The career quiz also stores your answers in browser local storage to show your results. You can clear those answers by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser settings.
Analytics and diagnostics
We use Google Analytics to understand page visits and interactions, such as searches and clicks on application links. Analytics may include device and browser information, approximate location, referral sources, and pages visited. We use Sentry for error diagnostics and our hosting services process technical request information to deliver and maintain the site.
These services help us understand which resources are useful and diagnose problems. Their processing is also governed by their own privacy notices.
Cookies and browser storage
Authentication uses cookies or browser storage to maintain your session. Analytics and third-party widgets may also use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies and stored data in your browser settings. Blocking or clearing them may affect sign-in, saved programs, or third-party features.
Sponsored listings and Esyoh inquiries
When displayed, sponsored education listings and inquiry forms use technology supplied by ESYOH LLC. Loading a widget may allow Esyoh to receive technical information about your visit, such as your browser, IP address, and the page displaying the widget.
If you submit an inquiry through an Esyoh form, information requested by that form may include your name, email, phone number, location, and program interests. The form transmits your inquiry to Esyoh, which may share it with participating schools or training providers so they can respond. Read the form’s privacy notice and contact-consent language before submitting; those notices describe the recipients and contact methods for that inquiry.
An education inquiry is separate from your tradeschool.fyi account and from an application to a union apprenticeship. We may receive compensation for an eligible inquiry. For questions about an inquiry or follow-up messages, use the contact details supplied by Esyoh or the responding education provider.

Service providers and external links
We use service providers for authentication, hosting, data storage, analytics, and diagnostics. Information is processed as needed to provide these functions. When you follow a link to a union, school, employer, or another website, that site’s privacy policy applies to information you provide there.
